Cool list homie, and +100000 for Reaper!
I wanted to comment as a music maker/ mainly guitar player on the new bass you mention-
I went through a ton and probably wasted alot of money now that the new Musicman SUB series is out.
It is seriously incredible value, having spent alot of time with people that own the more expensive ones.
Do check them out if you want tons more UMPH!

I wouldn't have even thought to bring it up had I not seen your list btw,
I started on the gio and went up through the ibanez line. Wasn't umphy enough until the Stingray SUB RAY 5

Later dude!

I'll definitely check that out, the reviews make it seem great! :)

My plan isn't to go cheap though, I'm thinking around £500-£700 but this won't be for another year AT LEAST. I say this because my current bass is an Ibanez GSR200 which is around the £200 mark and has more features than the one you recommended and it's not worth me investing in another low-end instrument. The bass is a secondary instrument for me, I only use it for recording as my main instrument is the electric guitar (and singing). I just want something that is better for recording.

Please let me know if you have any other thoughts!! Thanks for taking the time to tell me about that awesome bass! :D

No problemo dude! and i definitely understand
I'm sure you'll also want to try out whatever you buy next
Only other thing regarding the price alone, i technically downgraded as well
But oddly, I find it totally better than my SR405
Talk at ya later mang!
