Frustration and heavy music

Posted by MetalRenard - November 24th, 2013

Teaching/being a trainee teacher in the UK is probably one of the more difficult jobs out there.
The hours are impossibly long, you're constantly being observed and there's a really steep learning curve.

All that lead to me having a really crap couple of weeks, tons of stress and pent up frustration.
I managed to sort a lot of things out thankfully, so this weekend I was able to spend a few hours making music.

To be honest, I've had the urge to try my hand at melodic death metal for a while now. I'm a massive fan of bands like Scar Symmetry and Soilwork and I find their guitar riffs and vocals really inspiring. They're so damn creative. So, I did what I could in the time I had and came up with this:

It definitely made me feel a little better.

Lets be honest: is there anything easy in life? Persevere, and keep going at it! You'll get there.

Will give that track a listen when I have the time...don't expect a review, tho. I'm no metal connoisseur.
